Germany does seem to have more than its' share of this type of incident.

I hope that there are no more deaths or serious injuries following this.

Perhaps creating more pedestrian only areas might act as a deterrent.

^^^ yeah. then the Casserole will know where to go to kill more people!

Car ramming follows string of recent attacks

Security has been a key concern in Germany following a string of violent attacks in recent weeks and months.

There were deadly car rammings in Magdeburg in December and in Munich last month.

Last May, there was also a stabbing in Mannheim.

The Magdeburg car ramming killed six people and injured almost 300.

In Munich, a mother and her two-year-old daughter were killed. At least 37 people were injured.

The suspect in the Munich attack is an Afghan asylum seeker, which led to renewed debate about immigration in German politics just before the country's recent general election.//

I wonder if Merkel is happy

It seems we are dancing! More fallout from Angie's welcome mat to those that hate civilisation.

" 'no further, reliable information can currently be released'."

Can we leave it at that until reliable information is released and not have the 'the usual dance' comments.

//The incident occurred as crowds gathered in cities across regions including Germany's Rhineland for parades to mark the carnival season.

Police were on high alert for this year's carnival parades after social media accounts connected to ISIS called for attacks on the events in Cologne and Nuremberg. //

Today in the Catholic areas of Germany is Rosenmontag. A day of fun and processions with people in folkloric costumes - often as animals- distributing sweets to the children and is a precursor to the beginning of Lent, and is taking place around where I live.

So we now have two Christian events to be sabotaged by Islamists; the Christmas Markets and Rosenmontag .

if these guys hate the west then why don't they just go home, i don't know what they hope to achieve, it will change nothing except for peoples mistrust of muslims, or maybe thats the aim?

Let's wait for outcry & condemnation from one of those majority, nice, peaceful muslims we hear so much about on AB.

It could be a long wait.

15:17 they'll still be in the denial phase, when the rest of us know the story already.

Maybe they should have voted in a far right party who wouldn't need to form a coalition. Or maybe German ones are still too risky ?

Maybe not as risky as some non germans.

"a violent offender with a history of bodily harm, drink driving and hate speech convictions called Alexander S."
