Music Player Part Deux....
https:/
I previously asked:
Hi can anyone recommend a simple music player (for android) that I can just point at a folder and it plays the contents. I don't want to set up play lists I just want to play my folders of music which are already in playlists. All the ones I can find want me to import albums etc, create playlists, I just want to play my files in the folders they are in. Thanks.
I settled on zorillasoft Music Folder player, does exactly what I want sadly it only works for mobile devices. I'm looking for similar for a windows PC.
All the ones I have found still want to mangle my library etc or download a load of other she ite.
Any ideas? Thanks

I still use
I installed Media Player Classic almost accidentally, as it comes bundled with the standard version of K-Lite Codec Pack (which you ought to have on your PC anyway, as it ensures that any audio or video you might download will play regardless of how obscure the codecs used in creating it are). I love its simplicity, although there are plenty of advanced features available for those who need them.
The download is available here:

(You can select which components you install)
Once you've installed Media Player Classic, use it to start playing the first audio file in a folder and then go to Play > After Playback > Play The Next File in the Folder.
This 2012 music player has a small, minimizable window. Drag and drop a folder onto it, and it plays the contents. It displays only the details of the currently selected song and the media controls. When the program closes, the list is cleared. It cannot be installed on Tesla OS. https:/
