Hi,

I recently got a copy of a Japanese movie, that can't be purchased here in the UK, as two AVI files. Unfortunately there are no English sub-titles, but i have two files called SRT files for each respective AVI. As far as I understand these SRT files contain the subtitle data i need - so does anyone know how to incorporate the SRT files into the AVI so i have the sub-titles with the movie?

Thanks in advance,

k

If you are watching the movie on your computer, and the subtitle file is in the same directory as the movie, most software players will play the subs automatically. The name of the subtitle file should be exactly the same as the movie (apart from the srt, of course).
put the .srt file in the same folder as the .avi and give it exactly the same name as the .avi (apart from .avi to .srt obviously!).

dont use windows media player, i dont think that works too well with downloaded stuff. mplayer is quite good, thats what i use.

http://www1.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/win32/ is where you can download it. see what you think.
