Printing e-mails

When printing normal files my PC printer prints them as set: that is, in portrait shape and filling the A4 page as usual. But when printing incoming e-mails it has suddenly decided to print them in landscape shape and filling only a bottom corner of the page. Something in Outlook Express is obviously overuling my printer settings but I cannot find anything on the Outlook Express menus to cope with this. How do I getback to normal?
