Desktop Problem
1 Answers
I don't know how, but when cleaning my mouse a menu appeared on the screen and I merely got rid of it. However it appears this menu was more important than I first thought. Since this happened I've been having problems with the desktop.
I used to have a collection of program icons in the task bar next to the Start button with the opened programs reduced to the task bar the other end next to the system tray. Suddenly I'm unable to position any icon in the task bar and the opened programs now appear next to the Start button where the small icons use to be.
I can only hope I've explained the problem well enough for someone to help me restore the desktop to the way I want it.

The really odd part is you have to drag the OPPOSITE way. Try to click and get the part DIRECTLY right of that little "bump" (it's hard to describe, it looks like this: | ). You'll see this "bump" LEFT of your Quicklaunch icons AND your "loaded software". Drag the "loaded software" bump to the right, then your Quicklaunch bar will return back to the left.
