why don't my microsoft.com or yahoo.com links work?

In the last few days I am having a lot of trouble getting to my free email accounts with Yahoo and Hotmail. I just keep having to wait for ages and then get the white page that says it can't be found, try again later.

A couple of times I have managed to sign in to my email with Yahoo and Hotmail, but then I get the page can't be found message again. I have had no trouble at all with any other sites. I have a feeling that it must be my PC. Any ideas please?? It is doing my head in!

Is your internet connection working? Have you got your internet explorer to work offline (File > Work Offline) If so you need to turn thi off since it will only load pages you have been to before!

Thanks for trying to help. It turned out that I had a few viruses on the PC and that's why it would not work.

Our 13 year old had gone onto the internet before the firewall,etc.had loaded and picked up all kinds of nasties. Kids eh?.. don't we just love em!!!
