MSN Messenger and Web Cams

I have tried to set up three web cams (at different times) and when the have loaded they disable my msn messenger! Any ideas?

don't no if this will help Terrance but the same thing happened to me on yahoo com. make sure the speed of the webcam is the same as your internet connection;broadband,dsl,dialup etc. And check your proxies. if U R behind a firewall U have 2 open a 'exceptions port' . Go 2 control panel,security, firewall,exceptions tab.if theres no msn webcam box 2 tick U might have to add 1. hit 'add port'; and this is where we must part. I named mine webcam.yahoo.com with a port number of 5100. not havin DL'ed MSN don't no what your's might be, maybe webcam.msn.com.


i don't no Y i've just written all this ***** as it prob won't help U at all. surly theres' a help page on this???

I don't know what the problem is but you could try just talking on msn voice and using yahoo messenger for the cam at the same time.
