I work for CGS and can try and answer some of the points here. CGS are a national company that have been trading for the past 8 years. During this time we have dealt with over 100,000 applications from customers who have been refused credit elsewhere.
The service that we offer is quite simple. Once we have initially assessed and approved in principal an application we will guarantee to find a credit card that the customer will be accepted for. We then charge a fee to do just that. If we put a customer through to a certain card company it is because our system is showing that, based on our experience of using that card company, the customer should expect to be accepted. As we are not issuing the cards ourselves there is always a possibility that customers are turned down for the first choice of card that we have for them. In those cases we will always be able to replace them with the second available choice.
Due to the Data Protection Act I cannot deal with individual cases on this forum, however I can state that any customer who has paid a fee to us and received anything less than great service will be ensured a refund. Please email me on
