I have created and published a new website using serif page plus 10 and Freeola.net with no need for html knowledge. I now wish to add counters etc from Google I downloaded a statcounter which is in html and I am having difficulty adding this to page I am using XP and Firefox
Advice please on how to do this or get counters etc that will be simpler to add instructions were given for netscape composer which I have but referred to 'external editors' which did not appear in preferences
any help much appreciated

Is there a specific bit of the page that you want the counter added to for it to be visible?
If all else fails, right click on your html page, "Open With" Notepad and add the html right at the bottom just above the
</body> tag, then save.

thanks both of you I think I cracked it with the help ofSerif Tech support and the help pages but as I asked for it not to be visible I need to the visit the site for stats which I have not done yet. I will certainly try the page plus newsgroup if I have further difficulty with this or anything else
