Does he like me or am I reading too much into it?

A guy that I've been close friends with for several years had to move to another province for a job last fall. I suspect he has feelings for me as more than just a friend. I'll let you be the judge. First of all; before he left he gave me his old computer so we could stay in contact. After he gave me the computer I gave him a beautiful friendship candle. He got very emotional and said he would think of me every time he looked at it in his new house. Well he finally got his internet hooked up and when he isnt at work we've been MSN messangering each other. Some nights we talk for almost 2 hours. The last conversation we had he told me he really missed me with a crying face next to it. He also said I might get my wish when I told him that I wanted to see him for my birthday. He also told me to "go for it" with a big smiley face next to it after I told him I wanted to soak in the bathtub after a long day at work. He says things like how funny I am and that I'm a great person to talk to. He always signs off by saying chow bella (bye beautiful) and to sleep tight. So my question is do you think he definately likes me as more than a friend or am I reading too much into it?

to cut a long reply short. when you MSN with him next, as him where he thinks you would be in your friendship had he not moved away. :-)

just ask him some leading questions when you're on MSN...if you don't ge the reply you want, next time you message him make out you were drunk and say you hope you didnt say anything to embarrass yourself! To do this though you have to be of the strong frame of mind that if he doesnt respond the way you hope, you wont let it drag you right down and ruin the friendship....

i think asking about his ideal partner though is an excellent idea. its such a leading question! should give you the answers you need. Regardless, it sounds to me as if he really likes you!

Seems the dude is in love with you. Is there any reason why you guys should not go out? Its good to read between the lines girl. In my opinion its best to be friends first. There is potential buzzie03, just ask the right questions and the answers will come to you.
