Downloading images

When you download images from an XD card on to the computer why do they appear in a different order to what they were taken. Having re arranged then into the correct order how do I transfer them on to a CD without having to number them 001,002 etc. If I do not they go random again.

Assuming you are using a PC, you can click view and then "arrange icons by" a number of choices. If you choose what details you want visible (on the same menu), this will give you a wider choice of which details you can arrange by.
