Because I've had so much trouble with windows, I'm looking at buying an Apple Computer. I need one which I can use Apple's Final Cut Express, but on amazon is says that the apple mac mini doesn't have a video editing card. Does this mean I wouldn't be able to use Final Cut, and have to fork out for the significantly more expensive imac?

final cut pro, as i said in the other question of yours, is a very demanding pro app, needing lots of resources.

if you want to go for an iMac, and i'd strongly suggest making sure it has 1GB ram or above.

would iMovie not suffice for your needs?
sorry, ignore the "pro" stuff.

thanks I can never really work out all these things myself. It's because I'm using Pinnacle on Windows, but I'm having so many problems with it I was looking into apples because they work so much better. From what I've read iMovies quite basic and Pinnacles more along the lines of Express. Thanks for the info.
Yea, final cut express may be closer to this.
