How to use the additional email address
4 Answers
Something that has been baffling me for the past few days. I have an email account with a service provider which works fine and I can send and receive emails without any problem. I have also got the option of opening a number, I think upto five additional email accounts. So I am logged onto the computer with my password and log onto the internet and i go to my service providers site and by using the account name and password to my account i log in and change or modify the email accounts for my self.
The question is - when I create a new email using microsoft outlook I type in the email address of the person that I want send the email to. When the email is received at the other end it will show which email address the letter has come from. So how do I use these additional email address so that it shows the second email address. I can't figure out where to enter one of my additional email address to send a new email.

If the new email address is with the same provider as your existing one then I suggest you use the view'edit option first to bring up the sttings for your existing account. Select it an click change. Make a note of what appears in the server information fields as this will be the same.
Once you have noted the details go back without chaging anything and use the tools/email accounts otion to add a new email account.

As Gandy says, you need to set up a new account in Outlook for each of your additional e-mail addresses.
When you create a new e-mail message, the 'From' field will show whichever e-mail address you have selected as your default account. To change this to one of your other accounts, just click in the 'From' field and you'll be able to select a different account.
