I had a friend on myspace from devon (i live in derby) we got on quite well and often chatted on msn and phone etc. We were quite pally and all of a sudden i see she's deleted herself from my friends list and wont return any of my messages. I was planning on going down to see her this summer ( she knew about this and was a little excited) She just seems to be removing me.
Its ming me feel quite crappy at the mo can anyone offer me some advice.

Oh dear I think this person was scared off as soon as you said about meeting up. we have met people on holiday and got on great. then kept in touch when we got home.We would phone a couple of times and then as soon as someone mentioned visiting the others cool of very quickly and you never hear from them again. think this has happened to you. I got chatting to someone on a holiday site and we seemed to get on very well emailing to each oter. But when we met up we didnt really have anything in common and didnt see much of them whilst on holiday. Dont let it get you down. You can alwas chat to me on here if you like. Brenda x
My opinion is that people who join these boards on the whole wish to remain anonymous. I know I do. I don't want to reveal much of myself and I certainly don't want to meet anyone. I don't want to publish photos and I don't want to know what other posters look like. That' s the whole point for me - I can be as friendly as you like and can chat away for ever, but if anyone wants to meet me they can forget it.
You may have found someone like me, lightoftruth - forget and move on.
