Microsoft Word 2003

Hi all,

When using Word 2003 my cursor disappears every so often then reappears when I move my mouse. E.G. when typing a letter the cursor disappears from the page instead of moving in front of the text and leaves me not knowing where I am on the page.

Please help.

Goto the control panel (in start menu), then to the mouse icon.

in there, goto 'pointer options' tab and untick the checkbox 'hide pointer while typing'

Hi all, I may have to rephase my question.Thank you fo3nix I should have said insertion point.

In Word 2003 the insertion point disappears from the page when I am typing, not bad when I'm in a straight line but annoying when I press carriage return. The curser remains on the page, and when I move the mouse the insertion point returns.
