Basic Emoticons

Could we please have some emoticons/smilies, not all those complex ones, just the run of the mill ones?

Sometimes it's difficult to work out the tone in which a post has been made and perhaps this might go some way to stopping people jumping to the wrong conclusion (something I myself have been guilty of!)?

Just a thought to maybe stop some of the fall outs?

I think people tend to argue that the 2 people left in the world that are still on dial up, i think they live on Barry Island, well their computer would take forever to load up the page if everyone put a smiley face in their posts or could brighten up and enrich others lives with an avatar.
