Moved house this weekend and think I accidently plugged the lead for my printer into my pc harddrive unit which has a different wattage. Now my computer won't turn on, although when i turn the plug on at the wall, the little green light next to where the power lead plugs into the computer, lights briefly then fades out. I think i may have blown a fuse inside the comps power unit or something. I tried changing the fuse of the plug on the correct powerlead to no avail. Any suggestions? Think i'm gonna take it into a computer shop and see what they say but i don't wanna get stung for a high repair price as the computer is fairly old (and crap!)

Sounds like the Power Supply.

If it has done its job properly it should have blown to protect the expensive parts (motherboard etc.) for a larger power load.

A new power supply should only cost around 15
