Modem Lock

This icon has appeared on my computer, when I switch on it says the modem lock is on, and then it unlocks and shows a padlock undone. Whats this all about, never noticed it before a couple of days ago.

Do you use BT internet? It's a safety feature they have that stops any dodgy diallers changing your settings. It only allows the modem to dial their number unless you switch off the lock
