mouse moving on it's own/game crash

the mouse on my boys pc tends to move on it,s own after start up and at other times. also tiger woods 2007 tends to crash and shows the curser flashing and two of them.i know this game does have bugs according to forums. also x-men won't load past a certain level although the specs are more than enough to handle the gam, and it was ok up to this point.
latest ati driver has been downloaded and installed ( radeon 9600se 128mb ).
prev Folders turning read only

not sure about your tiger woods problem but as for your mouse, is it wireless ? i had this problem with my mouse and was advised by the manufacturer to retune it to its base. this did solve the problem.

no it's just a cheap cable mouse from tesco,perhaps a dearer one would be better.
