Photoshop 7.0 ruler

Can I get the ruler at the sides and top to show in exact inches (life size) ?

You could do it this way...

choose View -> Show Rulers

then Window -> Navigator (make sure it's visible)

Double-click on the ruler and set its measurement system to Inches.

Finally, hold a ruler up to your screen and move the magnification slider at the bottom of the Navigator palette
until the on-screen ruler matches the ruler you are holding in your hand.
