slow internet??

can anyone explain to me why my internet has been working reaaaaaaaaaally slowly since i restarted my computer with windows professional?? especially on msn, whenever people send me or i send them files it is reaaaaaaaaally slow, plus the webcam keeps crashing on it. can someone tell me what to do about it? i have used updated scans for virus' and spyware using Trend Micro PC Cillin Internet Security 2006 but it does not tell me that anythings wrong. i have also deleted my temporary internet files and cookies on the internet options menu window.

Not too sure here, but have you tried running an online test to test your internet speed?

Go to

http://www.adslguide.org.uk/

And click 'speed test in the left hand box entitled 'ADSLguide'
It could be a problem with your provider. If it shows a slow speed then first port of call should be with your Internet provider.

If that does not work I am not sure what it could be if your PC is virus free.
