Jpeg to Icon?

i have a couple of files i want to customize my desktop with, and theyre jpeg files, and when im on the icon customisation screen it doesnt let me select them because theyre not icon files. is there a way to change them into icon files? or a new thing i can change .jpeg to so that it registers its an icon?

You need an icon editor to convert the jpeg to an ico file. Google "Icon Editor"
