Get Rid of Stubborn Files
1 Answers
Here's my problem, I have been looking for a backup system and have tried a couple. Now I have found one on-line, the only trouble is it gets stuck on my previous backup files saying it doesn't have access which causes a blip. I have tried everything to get rid of these files but they are stubborn, although empty they refuse to go. I have tries recycle bin, MoveOnBoot, Cybershredder, and tried in safe mode all to no avail, have also tried to rename files but the answers still the same, the annoying thing is the files are all empty. Can anyone out there give me a new spin on this one please. Also I know XP has its own backup? JimP

Try Unlocker, I have yet to come across a file or folder it has not been able to unlock so that you can delete/move/rename etc.
Just install it, then right click on the offending file/folder and select Unlocker, it will tell you which program/process has it locked, you can then just click Unlock (or Unlock All if multiple processes have it locked) and then do what you like with the file/folder.
