Internet connection
1 Answers
Since getting online I have been using IE6 as my browser and Freeserve as my ISP. Everything went fine for a long time and when I pressed the 'internet' button on my keyboard IE6 opened and a window appeared on the screen to connect to Freeserve. IE6 has now gone t*ts up and refuses to connect to most sites. I was advised elsewhere that this is not unknown and was directed to the 'Opera' browser. I have downloaded this and it works fine. It is set as the default browser so that when I, for example, click on any links in an e-mail message the PC tries to display the page using Opera. However, when I open Opera it won't connect to Freeserve automatically - I have to open IE6, get the connection, close IE6 without discinnecting and then open Opera. How can I get Opera to connect to Freeserve when I open it?
