Download options

Whenever I download a program the options -
Save to disc or
Download all files appear, which option should I choose and why
PS I use firefox if it makes any difference

Hi Ash - I hope I've got this right.

If you save to disc, you can check it with your antivirus and spyware programmes before opening it.

I always save to my 'downloads folder' .

I'd be interested to know what other people do.

I knew if anybody came through with a reply it`d be Dame Ethel :)
So if I choose the option of saving to 'My download folder' I don`t suppose its gonna do my pc any harm, or is it?

I should hope not!

But of course you have adequate software that you update and run regularly......

I`ll d/load something and choose the option of 'downloadin all' and see how it goes.
PS thanks for the link on the subject about adding text to a picture(not my post) but the link to tinyurl is a belter and now I can stop other ebaters using my pics because from now on i`ll add my own watermark :)

Not tried to download anything yet Ethel, i`m busy doing ebay stuff at the mo. I`ll let you know how I get on later :)
