My computer regularly 'crashes' or stops with a blue screen. The message I get is: 'A device driver installed on your computer caused the Windows operating system to stop unexpectedly. This type of error is referred to as a 'stop error' and requires you to restart your computer. Being a bit of a novice, how do I find out which driver is causing the problem?

If you are using Windows XP right-click on My Computer and select Manage. Under System Tools select Device Manager. You should see an X against the faulty device. Also under System Tools is the Event Viewer, this may give you some more clues as to what is failing.

Thanks. Nothing highlighted in Device manager but errors highlighted under Event Viewer such as 'Application Error Category 100 Event 1000. Also under System a couple of recurring errors ie: Source DCOM Event 10010 and also Source Service Control Manager Event 7023. I'm afraid these are as clear as mud to me, I think I might need to take it to a shop. Thanks anyway
