msn account hacked into

My son has had his msn account hacked into and his password changed. Already it looks like the hacker is sending rude messages to his friends. He can't get into it anymore and is worried about further hacking into other internet sites. Has anyone any experience of this and is there a remedy?

If you send a message to Hotmail Customer Support, the only link I can find is here they are usually very good at getting access back.

This happend to my account some time ago. I was asked to provide a best estimate of some of the recent emails in my account sent and recieved, some people on my contact list and any information that I could (despite all of this being hacked and changed). They got my account back in under 48 hours.

You could always try "Reset Password" links... however most hackers change the "secret question" too...
