I have placed some pictures in a new microsoft word document and i want to put some text at the side of each picture but i can't, can you help.

Right-click on a picture.

Select 'Format Picture'

Click the 'Layout' tab.

Click on 'Square'

If required, select a position for the picture (e.g. 'Centre'. This will allow you to place text down both sides of the picture).
[Further options are available, for precise positioning, by clicking 'Advanced' but you probably won't need them].

Click 'OK'.
