Viewing video files on TV
3 Answers
I've set my TV up as a second monitor (cloned), so that I can watch some of the trailers etc I have on my hard disk on a screen that the rest of the family can enjoy. I can see everything on my monitor until I try to play anything through Windows Media, WinAmp or Quicktime, when all I get is the sound and the player frame. A very view files seem to play OK (The 'Return of the King' large sized QT trailer, for instance). Is there some setting I need to alter somewhere, or an alternative (free) player that will work? I'm connecting the TV to the computer via a GeForce 2 card, using a phono lead to carry the picture, and have tried setting the card to both composite and S-Video output with no joy.
