How do i open a " rar " file??

I downloaded a rar file but i cant seem to play it...any ideas??

You need to download Real Player - do a search on google

you will need a program called winrar , winzip will also open them.

I clicked on the file and then clicked extract all...its took me to the winzip wizard but when it says its done and i click on the file its exactly the same.

What sort of file is it, once you've extracted it from the rar?

If it's a video file, you may need something other than windows media player to play it:
