is there away how i can download windows media player 11 for my windows xp home edition? i tried to download it twice but it says that ive got the wrong service pack. give us a hand :)

If you have service pack 2, it should be fine. Do a windows update.
The service pack that peanut refers to is the Windows XP service pack. Right Click on My Computer and choose properties. It should tell you on the general tab which service pack you have installed (Under System:).

If it doesn't say Service Pack 2 then you must download and install Microsoft XP Service Pack 2:
