Hi, Can anyone tell me how to safely dispose of my old computer. I have been advised that I should not simply discard it as someone can easily obtain information from the hard-drive.

Just smash up the whole computer, or put a hose pipe inside and spray water around it, that will work, keeps it simple!!

This is an ideal opportunity for Chloe to open her pc, have a rootle and see exactly what is inside. Before we know it, she'll be building her own.

And then she can come and install my new 250 gig SATA hard drive and explain where all the jumpers go to give me a operating system on the SATA drive and two slaves for back-up. Grrrrr and then transfer everything into a new case as my USB ports are worn and keep shorting out my PC and causing it to restart whenever I plug a USB plug into it, don't we just love these computers lol!!!!!!!
