opening photos
when I click on a photo in My Pictures it insists on opening in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 (I didn't even know I had this but I assume it came with Photoshop Elements 3). I'm given the option of opening in Windows Picture Viewer, which I want (quicker and less 'noisy' to look at), but have to do it every time. Where can I change the default to Picture Viewer? I've got Windows XP.

Hello lottie glad you are back if secetly.
Am delighted just arrived back from walk and coffee (and I didn't bark at all!!) and Mr N has mended the washing machine, `probably cos I phoned and told him the price of a new filter is 85€ (cos they are not supposed to break!) Am now going to email Smeg and moan at them!
Bedsheets sloshing away as I speak, so happy!!
Will go and check FB now although heavens knows what name you are under Lottie!

Morning all...another lovely sunny one here but not set to last.
Unless you simply register and never do another thing I don't think you're ever totally private on FB. If you post on someone's page who isn't private you can be seen sometimes can't you? I know they keep changing the rules.

Hi all. I is here after a rather busy time. Now getting sorted. I've kept up with your posts on and off so please forgive if I don't comment on all. You know if you've been unwell I wish you well.
I loved the photo of your lovely grandson Robi. Hope your eyes are ok now Jno.
Pleased your washer's working ok Neti. At least you didn't have to buy a new one as I did. Good to see you Lottie I have seen your photos of the little dog on FB. Woofy hope you and your sister had a good time and the fireworks have quiet ended down. Shaney hope you have full power now. I have a torch in every room in case the electric goes off.
I've been having some mainly good days doing what I do except for one day which was when I was held up on a train for 1 hour sitting in the train at the first stop on the journey because of a fatality on the line ahead then our straight through journey ended in Birmingham New Street and I was told to get the Edinburgh train to Derby. Well you know me and trains to Edinburgh. This time I did get the right one though thank goodness and arrived home 2 hours late.
Anyway it's good to get back on again.
Finally yesterday I went on a site www.which.co.uk/slowpc which was brilliant. I went through all the suggestions they gave to speed up my lap top and it worked. You may know all about them but you know me as thick as the proverbial at getting it right.
See you later 'gaters!

Hi jude, well hail, hail the gang's all here :-)
Am all clean and in a clean bed, luvverly!! My tummy is better. It's pouring down so Sky TV keeps going off, just when I want to watch it! Still I can watch on lappy if all else fails. Luckily all the washing was nearly dry so I tumbled it and all put away. Neither of us did any cooking as we are eating the leftovers.
Hope you are all cosy and warm.

Got the early bus to Ibiza which cost me 2€ so I could renew my free bus pass. Have bought a fitted cotton sheet and am still looking for table lamps. Very damp and grey today but I am not moaning just wearing 2 sweaters ( trousers and boots before some bright spark thinks I am naked from the waist down) now having a cafe and a croissant.
