Hint 1:
When you want to print something, don't just hit the 'Print' button (if one exists in the program you're printing from). That usually bypasses the detailed settings. Instead, go to File > Print (or use Ctrl-P). Then click 'Properties'. From here, things will vary between different printers but there should be a way to change the printer settings to 'Shrink to fit', or to something similar. If you only want your chosen setting to apply for just that one document, click 'OK' but, if you want the settings to be your default choice for all documents, click 'Apply' then 'OK'.
Hint 2:
Internet Explorer sometimes seems to be able to over-ride the printer settings, resulting in the loss of the right-hand edge of a web page (even if 'Shrink to fit', or similar, was selected). If you've not already done so, switch to Firefox. Using File > Print Preview, in Firefox, allows you to see exactly how your page will print out. (Since switching to Firefox, I've never had problems with printing web pages):
