sony vaio notebook n series

hi,

i'm trying to register a vaio notebook with club vaio, but it just won't work! It asks for full name and serial number, and when i enter these it says that the serial number is incorrect. The notebook was bought over the internet and i used the serial code that i believe is correct following the not so helpful directions from the sony website. Any help would be appreciated, because it's not my notebook, it's my (growing more and more impatient) dads!!!!!

as far as i am aware it is a reputable company (my dad is a bit of a stickler for these things)

I've just treated myself to a Sony Vaio...can't get onto my desk PC 'cos my son keeps hogging it.
I want to use a data card with it so as to be completely wireless...no router...no looking for hotspots etc.Have you used one,if so, can you you advise me.I am at a loss about how to go about it.

no i haven't, sorry. my dad has a wireless router instead. you could try posting it as a seperate question and get better help lol :)

Have found the answer.....!!!!
Been in touch with my mobile service provider and they have Data Cards ...completely independent to ones mobile service.In fact all network providers do them...but only in their shops.Can be used anywhere in the world...just great !!!
