Roxio was installed on my new PC. It caused many problems so I uninstalled with great difficulty. The Roxio procedure didn't work and trying to contact Roxio was impossible so I deleted all Roxio folders and files using my file delete software. However when I switch on Windows Installer is trying to install Rosio Media Creator 7 which doesn't exist any where in my PC. This prevent any new installaton of anything from CD as installer is trying to install this non existing file. It 'configures' about 50% and then stop as there is no program to install. I am on the verge of a complete transfer of essential information to my spare hard disk and doing a complete wipe and reinstalling windows. Any ideas anyone - I will not go near Roxio again

Thank you for the fast response HWKE. I had already tried this solution but tried again and when I restart Installer is still trying to configure Rozio media creator. I'll think about it a little more and probably need to go the long way round this one.
