This pops and ask me to save it so i do then i can't open up internet explorer. IS there anything i can do? cheers in advance

All you can do at the moment is a system restore to a time before the last cumulative update for IE. The problem is a Microsoft issue which they are working to resolve. Or use Firefox until Microsoft have an answer.
