What is stopping my P2P software?
4 Answers
I have Limewire on my PC and have done for ages, however.... when I went to use it last week I found that it wouldn't connect and is showing the little symbol that means that a firewall is blocking it.
I have tried switching off my firewalls - I have AVG and Windows firewall, but even with them both disabled, Limewire still thinks its being blocked. I've looked at limewires help page, and nothing there has been helpful or relevant.
The firewalls have never been a problem before and I don't think we've got any other software capable of blocking it.
As a last resort I tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it, and even that hasn't worked.
Can anyone help? I'm female and a more then a little blonde, and so I may need this explained in uncommonly obvious terms if possible please!!
Thanks,
Charlie
