avg free

I have AVG Free which updates each time I turn onmy laptop. Then I get a pop up in the bottom toolbar saying " Your computer might be at risk, your firewall is unknown. Click this balloon to fix it" When I click on it the control panel comes up and everything shows all is ok. Whats going on?

AVG is not a firewall.

The Windows firewall isnt much better than having no firewall.Try this.

make sure your avg is up to date - go to scheduler and ensure the update plan is scheduled daily.
