Hotmail access blocked?

I've not been able to access Hotmail on my work PC for this last week (no problems at home). All I get is 'this page cannot be displayed'. However, all other internet access seems perfectly OK, even the MSN homepage. Is it possible the IT Dept have put a block on Hotmail? There were no problems previously with it. Thank you.

Yes it is possible and likely - I was working at a place last week that blocked access to all online mail accounts. Usually tho' such places put up a page saying such access is blocked.

Stop Press!!! It must have been pesky gremlins, as everything is back to normal today!
