Deleting History in Internet explorer

Can anyone pleae tell me why i can not delete my internet history, i have a brand new computer using windows xp, i do the normal, tools, delete browing history, delete all, delete off line content, ok. however the internet history is still there

Download & use this, its free & does a good job. You have to tick the boes for what you want it to delet,eg History, temp files ect.You can also set it to run when you start up or shut down, or just manually.
