I'm on XP, and for some unknown reason,I can't access Windows media player. Recently downed the hi-mat update from the windows site. any hints/tips? Cheers!

Hi there I had the same problem and when I clicked on the icon it just made a "ting ting" sound. What I did was removed it from my computer. Then went to windows update and then after looking around the site I found a page that offered all the software that comes with XP. Then downloaded it there and it was still the latest version.
