Oooh, I like ▀█▄ - I don't know why really, probably because I love the panic involved when they stack all the way to the top before you can figure out which way to set them down. :)

▌On the modern tetris there is a straight one.

The long straight, you can slip them in the sequence anywhere standing tall or flat. Plus if you have a build up of bricks they're tall enough to assist.

My favourite is the long thin one. No thought necessary and perfect for filling up the gaps at the sides. The Tetris version of 'No More Big Gaps' methinks.
