Replace Psion5
I use my Psion5 every day and it must be reaching the end of its life - how do I replace it?
I read that some Nokia phones use the same operating system - could I transfer my files to one that looks like a Psion i.e. opening to reveal a keyboard?

The Psion evolved into the Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) so have a look at some of these. The line between PDAs and mobile phones is becoming increasingly blurred so maybe the Nokia phone will do what you want but have a look around as there is so much out there. You can even get PDAs with SatNav on them for your car. Have a search on the internet for PDAs.
As far as transferring files goes - if you have the datalink for your Psion5 (the cable with an oval box half way down) then you shouold be able to transfer everything to your computer. Once the files are on your computer there will be a way to put them onto your new PDA. I'm pretty certain there isn't anything out there that will take the files straight off your Psion5 other than a computer sorry.

Many thanks for your suggestions. I don't have the cable you mention - I have PsiWin2 and a serial lead but I don't know if it works with XP.
I do have a PDA, an Axim5 but it does not compare with the Psion. There is no database and the screen is the wrong shape for a database. Worst of all there is nothing to compare with the "Spell" program - used for crosswords!
