apart from the brilliant and free Windows Movie Maker are there any other similar yet better programms that will allow me to download a video ive made and add transitions, effects etc etc to the video so I can then put this video on the net?

Our club wants to make a promotional video and place it on our site. Windows Movie Maker is brillaint, but we want something a little more powerful and with better add ons. Preferably something I can download as a bittorrent (free!!)

I work as a film editor and i do lots of things from cutting scenes to adding special effects. I use a few programs all of what are very expensive but not for you.
Sony vegas, i use version 8 now. If you would like i can get you a copy for free. Legally licenced as well.
All you have to do is ask.
Very powerfull program, they use it on tv and in small films.

Generate your serial key for vegas 7.0 and then on trial go to registration and it will ask you to visit online. Click register later and it should give you a place to save the url. Next it will ask you to enter your serial key, copy and paste the generated one into the box and then click ok and you have a copy of sony vegas. Check amazon and see how much you've saved!
