I've just got a new PC with windows vista on it. I installed an old version of Microsoft picture it and now want to remove it. It keeps telling me I do not have acces to do so and to contact the system administrator. My account is the administrator account! Also I get the same problem when trying to install MSN messenger. Please can anybody out there help!

Try this:
In Control Panel, open User Accounts
Click on Turn User Account Control on or off
Confirm that it was actually you who clicked it and not a poltergeist.
Uncheck the option "User account control..."
