When I write an email & click on "send" it goes in to the outbox OK.If I then click "send all" nothing happens.I have to shut down and reopen OE after which I can send.Have checked all settings but can find no reason for this.Is it a quirk of Vista or what?

How do you come to have Outlook Express on Vista? It comes with Windows Mail...

Correction it is Windows Mail,but the problem is as described.

Sorry, no idea. I don't normally use Windows Mail, but I just configured it for one of my accounts and tested it, and it works fine.
