Think I am gonna lose the plot shortly..... So here goes...

I am trying to transfer some money via ebanking but I cant because I don't have Java. I have installed it several times, logged on logged off, but nothing. When I check my computer settings on ebanking it says that my security settings will not allow me to load Java software.

So my question is, where are my security settings on my computer and how do I change them?

Please note that I am a complete technophobe and computer-illiterate, so words of longer than one syllable may confuse me.

thank you

Are you sure it is Java you want not JavaScript?

They are NOT the same thing.

What version of Windows are you running (assuming you are running Windows)

Ah thank you VHG, I do have javascript but apparently I needed Java as well. That was the site I was downloading from but I just got a call from the help desk (some bloke sitting at his desk in Denmark would you believe) and apparently, for some reason, although I had downloaded it correctly it was sitting as disabled on my settings.

It is now enabled, transfer complete and I am broke again :-o(

Lend 'us a tenner?

Thank you very much for you help
