any ABers got any suggestions for anti virus software free or not...........

I am coming to the end of subscription for norton anti virus and was given the opportunity to download the 2008 version for free till end of subscription and I am not sure if I want to carry on with Norton now

Just as an aside...
A friend of mine recently brought me her laptop to fix.
She had no problems at all except that she couldn't get to her inbox on Yahoo. After trying everything else, I disabled her firewall, and it all worked fine. She's now running Sunbelt (free version) and has no problems. You've guessed of course that her original firewall was Norton, but here's the irony: She installed it as it was a recommended download from Yahoo!
