Fix XP without original disk

I have XP Pro installed on my PC. I would like to repair the files on it but was never given the original disk with the computer (Second Hand) Is there a program available which has the original XP files on it.

If there was one, Mr. Gates would quickly ensure it was stopped. Could I gently remind you that what you have there is an illegal under the licensing agreement?

Assuming that the copy you have is legit. - i.e. it is not installed on any other computer and passes the Windows Advantage test, and you have the CD key, then you should be able to buy a replacement CD from MS for pretty much the cost of the media.

You could also try restoring your PC to an earlier date by using the System Restore wizard which you can find under the Help & Support area on the main Start menu.
